Pete Tong headlines Saturday night, in an exclusive two-hour set, the undeniable influential figure of world music will give Preston something it’s never seen before! He’ll be performing an exclusive 2-hour set of classics, in his only northern show of the spring or summer.
Over the last three decades, both publicly and behind the scenes, Pete has been revered as an arena-selling artist, DJ, music producer, A&R, and the curator of Radio’s dance programming.
With an incredible 30+ year career, the tastemaker DJ, broadcaster and producer has been dedicated to making dance music a global genre, constantly pushing boundaries, and breaking new talent wherever he goes.
For generations of electronic music fans around the world, he’s been the definitive voice of the dance music scene for their entire lives.
Outside of the radio studio, the focus for Pete as a DJ, is moving away from the grind of weekly touring and towards being part of events where he can really express himself musically, including The Preston Weekender.
With her years in the game, a multitude of awards, accolades and achievements, global tours and festivals, Sam Divine is a powerhouse artist. Renowned DJ, producer, and all-round inspiration to countless women worldwide, she has established herself as a formidable presence.
Sam, ‘House DJ of the Year’ is stopping off to perform in Preston following gigs in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Singapore.
Support comes from the brilliant Mark Freejack, and Ibiza Rocks resident, Macy Lancaster, both proud Prestonians.
